Lita Ford is an English-born American guitarist, singer, and songwriter, best known as a member of the all-female rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s. After the band disbanded, she launched a successful solo career in the 1980s. She’s become renowned for her guitar skills and pioneering role for women in rock and continues to influence the rock and metal genres to this day.
