Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, and Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots lit afire the sold-out Capitol Theatre, plowing through Aerosmith deep cuts, Joe Perry Project songs, and some cool renditions of Crowes and STP tunes. They were 100% live with an old-school raw swagger reminiscent of the best of Aerosmith’s past. Mistakes mattered little—it was real—and it brought back memories of the dangerous rock ’n’ roll of the past. A fantastic rock show featuring incredible musicianship and true rock-star energy.
