Nomination Criteria

  • ◆ The nominee must have made a significant and lasting contribution to heavy metal or hard rock music.
  • ◆ Artists, bands, producers, engineers, and industry professionals are all eligible for nomination.
  • ◆ Nominees should have a career spanning at least 10 years of active contribution to the genre.
  • ◆ All nominations are reviewed by the Metal Hall of Fame Board of Directors and advisory committee.
  • ◆ There is no limit to the number of nominations you may submit.
