Burton C. Bell

Burton C. Bell is an American vocalist best known as the co-founder and longtime frontman of pioneering industrial metal band Fear Factory. His innovative vocal approach — seamlessly blending clean melodic singing with aggressive death growls, often within the same song — became a blueprint for modern metal vocals and influenced countless bands across the industrial, nu-metal, and metalcore genres. Bell appeared on every Fear Factory release from their 1991 demo through their final studio album Aggression Continuum (2021).
