Dangerous Toys is an American hard rock band formed in Austin, Texas in 1987, fronted by vocalist Jason McMaster. The band’s self-titled debut album (1989) on Columbia Records achieved Gold certification on the strength of singles ‘Teas’n, Pleas’n’ and ‘Scared,’ blending raw Southern rock energy with a glam metal swagger that set them apart from their Hollywood contemporaries. They released four studio albums between 1989 and 1995 before going on hiatus, resurfacing in 1999 primarily as a live act.
