Metal Hall of Fame inductee Lita Ford has signed with Frontiers Music Srl and announced her new single "Dracula," slated for release on October 27, 2026. The announcement marks a significant new chapter for the legendary guitarist and vocalist, pairing her with a label known for its roster of classic rock and metal artists.
The single "Dracula" represents Ford's first new music under the Frontiers banner, signaling a renewed creative energy from the trailblazing musician. Details about the track remain under wraps, but the October release date has already generated considerable buzz among fans eager to hear new material from the hard rock pioneer.
Lita Ford first gained prominence as the lead guitarist for the groundbreaking all-female rock band The Runaways in the 1970s, before launching a highly successful solo career that established her as one of metal's most formidable artists. Her solo work produced multiple hit singles and platinum-selling albums, cementing her status as a guitar hero and a powerful voice in a male-dominated genre. Ford's influence extends far beyond her chart success—she blazed a trail for women in heavy metal and hard rock, proving that technical prowess and raw power knew no gender boundaries.
Throughout her career, Ford has been recognized for her searing guitar solos, commanding vocal delivery, and uncompromising approach to heavy music. Her induction into the Metal Hall of Fame acknowledges not only her commercial achievements but her lasting impact on the genre and her role in expanding its boundaries. From her early days with The Runaways through her solo triumphs, Ford has remained a vital force in rock and metal.
The partnership with Frontiers Music Srl positions Ford alongside a diverse catalog of rock artists and suggests a commitment to continuing her recording career. As the October 27 release date approaches, fans of Lita Ford and heavy metal have every reason to anticipate what "Dracula" will bring to her storied discography.
